Internet Setup for iMac 

This document is directed at customers using iMAc's Internet Setup Assistant.  The Internet Setup Assistant creates a connection to Coop Resources. What you see on your screen may be slightly different and/or in a different order than what the instructions indicate. Please feel free to look ahead and choose what you believe is the most logical setting at each setup screen. If you should make a mistake, use the Assistants "Back" button to go navigate back one or more steps.

1. Go Into the Assistants folder on hard drive. Double-click the Internet Setup Assistant. Click Yes.

3. Click Yes.

4. Click on the right arrow.

5. Type in Coop Resources for the name of configuration. Put dot next to "Modem" and click on right arrow.

6. Everything should be default here. If you have Pulse dialing then put the dot next to "Pulse. Click on the right arrow.

7. Type in your local access phone number. Type in your 'username' in the next field and then type in your 'password' in the last field. Remember to Click on the right arrow.

8. Put the dot next to "No". Click on the right arrow.

9. Put dot next to "No". Click on the right arrow.

10. Type in 'premium. news.fcgnetworks.net' for the NNTP server. Click on the right arrow.

12. Put dot next to "No". Click on the right arrow.

13. You are now ready to connect online. If you put a check next to "Connect when finished" and hit "Go Ahead" it will automatically connect you on the Internet. If you want to connect online later then leave checkmark out and click on "Go Ahead".
